Best Hotels in Krabi:

Personally Vetted Picks for Ao Nang

Krabi has no shortage of places to sleep. Finding one that actually makes the trip is the harder part. Every property below is one I've personally stayed in or hand-picked for WanderlustPro clients who want a genuinely great experience--not just a room that looks good in photos and disappoints on arrival.

Whether you want dramatic limestone cliff views from a private pool villa or a solid, comfortable base to come back to after a day on the water, this list has you covered.

Varana Hotel Krabi (Klong Muang Beach): A genuinely impressive five-star property on one of Krabi's most swimmable beaches -- away from the Ao Nang chaos but close enough by cab. Four pools, an award-winning spa, rock climbing, Muay Thai, and some of the most attentive service I've seen at this price point. Best for travelers who want a proper resort experience without the crowds.
Hotel Adam (Ao Nang): Opened in 2024 and already one of the most striking hotels in Ao Nang. Every room has a private pool balcony, the rooftop infinity pool delivers some of the best sunset views in the area, and the design -- inspired by Krabi's ancient cave paintings -- is genuinely beautiful rather than just Instagram-worthy. Best for couples who want style and personality in the heart of Ao Nang.
The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort (Tubkaak Beach): Only 59 rooms on one of Krabi's most pristine and private beaches, with views of the Hong Islands framed by tropical almond trees. Genuinely quiet, genuinely beautiful, and about as far from a cookie-cutter resort as you can get. Best for couples and honeymooners who want total seclusion with full luxury facilities. Worth noting: it's 15 minutes from Ao Nang so dining options outside the resort are limited.
Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort (Ao Nang)--Kid Friendly: A solid full-service resort right on Ao Nang Beach with two pools, a kids club, and the kind of amenities that make family travel significantly less stressful. The beach access and the pool bar sea views are the standout features. Best for families who want everything in one place without sacrificing location.

Pakasai Resort (Ao Nang): Tucked into lush tropical jungle just minutes from Nopparat Thara Beach, Pakasai manages to feel like a private retreat while still being walkable to everything in Ao Nang. The rooftop infinity pool is the highlight. Rooms were updated in 2025 so the tired-room complaints from older reviews no longer apply. Best for travelers who want greenery, calm, and great value without sacrificing location.
Panan Resort(Ao Nang): One of the most consistently reliable mid-range picks in Ao Nang. Well located, friendly staff, rooftop infinity pool with karst cliff views, and a kids club that makes it one of the better family options in this category. The breakfast gets genuinely great reviews. Best for families and couples who want a central location with proper resort facilities.
Phu Pi Maan Resort and Spa (Ao Nang) A well-regarded hillside resort a short drive from Ao Nang Beach with two pools, a spa, and solid reviews across the board for service and cleanliness. Good value for what you get and a calmer atmosphere than many of the beachfront properties. Best for travelers who prioritize peace and don't need to be steps from the beach.
Cosi Ao Nang (Ao Nang): A Centara-brand budget property that punches well above its price point. Clean, modern, friendly staff, and a location that puts you close to the beach and everything on the Ao Nang strip. Best for solo travelers and couples who want reliability and a recognizable brand without paying mid-range prices.
Sea Seeker (Ao Nang)--Kid Friendly: Sister property to Panan, positioned against a dramatic mountain and palm tree backdrop in a quieter pocket of Ao Nang. Consistently praised for exceptional service and one of the better restaurant offerings in this category. Best for families and couples wanting a calm, well-run base with solid food on site.
Aonang Hill @11/1 Krabi (Ao Nang): Renovated in 2024, quietly located off the main road with pool access rooms and genuinely warm service. Scores a 9.2 on Trip.com which is rare at this price point. Best for travelers who want clean, comfortable, and quiet without needing full resort amenities.
Andaman Breeze Resort (Ao Nang): A simple, honest resort within a five-minute drive of Ao Nang Beach and Railay. Lush garden setting, outdoor pool, on-site Thai restaurant, and friendly staff who consistently go out of their way to help organize tours and day trips. Best for budget travelers who want a decent pool and a relaxed vibe without being in the thick of it.
Whalecome Aonang Resort (Ao Nang): Small, clean, and genuinely welcoming -- this one is a quiet little find tucked off the main Ao Nang strip with easy beach and restaurant access. The beds get mentioned in nearly every review. Best for couples and solo travelers who want a comfortable, no-fuss base at a fair price. Small pool but clean and does the job.
Grand Mercure (Ao Nang): A newer addition to the Ao Nang strip from the Accor stable. Central location, two pools including a kids pool, rooftop bar with panoramic views, and the Italian restaurant Da Vino gets strong reviews. Best for travelers who want a branded hotel experience with reliable standards and a great central position.
