Burasari Phuket Resort (Patong): Tucked into tropical gardens 50 meters from the beach -- genuinely peaceful inside despite the Patong location. Complimentary daily minibar is a nice touch.
Budget
Hotel Clover Patong Phuket (Patong): Clean, well-run four-star right in the heart of Patong within walking distance of the beach and Bangla Road. Solid choice if Patong nightlife is the goal.
Paradox Resort Phuket (Karon): Stylish five-star directly across from Karon Beach with private plunge pool room options and a spa worth booking in advance.
Sawasdee Village (Kata): One of Phuket's most visually stunning properties -- lanterns, water features, Thai architecture, and three pools. The Baray Villas are the standout. It looks even better at night than in the photos.
