Phukets Best Hotels
The Surin Phuket (Surin): Private beach shared with only one other resort. Quiet, restrained luxury built into a coconut palm hillside -- best for couples who want real seclusion over a big resort experience
Andara Resort Villas (Kala): Hillside pool villas with panoramic ocean views and award-winning Thai dining at Silk Restaurant. One of the most consistently impressive luxury properties on the island.
Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort (Kamala): Hillside property with panoramic Andaman views, an Olympic-sized pool, and a marine biology center that makes it one of Phuket's best family picks. Casa Boho rooftop bar is a must for sundowners.
Dinso Resort and Villa (Pataong): A genuine jungle oasis above the Patong chaos. Thailand's Leading Villa Resort 2025 -- best for travelers who want Patong's convenience with a beautiful retreat to come back to.

Luxury
Mid-Range
Burasari Phuket Resort (Patong): Tucked into tropical gardens 50 meters from the beach -- genuinely peaceful inside despite the Patong location. Complimentary daily minibar is a nice touch.
Budget
Hotel Clover Patong Phuket (Patong): Clean, well-run four-star right in the heart of Patong within walking distance of the beach and Bangla Road. Solid choice if Patong nightlife is the goal.
Paradox Resort Phuket (Karon): Stylish five-star directly across from Karon Beach with private plunge pool room options and a spa worth booking in advance.
Sawasdee Village (Kata): One of Phuket's most visually stunning properties -- lanterns, water features, Thai architecture, and three pools. The Baray Villas are the standout. It looks even better at night than in the photos.
The Shore at Katathani (Kata): Adults only, 36 pool villas, retractable glass walls facing the Andaman Sea. One of Phuket's most intimate luxury experiences with access to the larger Katathani resort next door.
Pacific Club (Karon): Only 33 rooms, rooftop SkyPool with panoramic views, and genuinely warm service. Won Luxury Lifestyle Awards Best Boutique Resort 2025. A quiet hillside gem ten minutes from the beach.
Metadee Concept Hotel (Kata): Spacious pool access rooms, excellent staff, and a relaxed atmosphere a short walk from Kata Beach. Strong mid-range value with a resort feel without the resort price tag.
The Village Resort (Karon): Quiet boutique property on the north end of Karon Beach. Good base for exploring Kata and Patong without paying Patong prices.
Glam Habitat (Kamala): Small boutique property a few minutes from Kamala Beach with apartment-style rooms featuring private plunge pools. Feels personal rather than corporate -- consistently loved by repeat guests.
Kamala Beach Estate Hotel (Kamala) Spacious apartment-style accommodation on the quiet southern end of Kamala Beach with three pools, a private beach, and the kind of relaxed, unhurried atmosphere that Kamala does better than almost anywhere in Phuket. The west-facing terraces deliver genuinely spectacular Andaman sunsets. Best for couples and families who want space, privacy, and a slower pace well away from the Patong circus.
